With reasonable care and upkeep, it is our expectation that Pocket Ox products will serve you for years, perhaps generations.

My grandfather always claimed to own an ax that had come from France on the Mayflower. He’d say, “Of course I’ve replaced the handle a couple times. But the head only once.”

Pocket Ox hoists have no welded or riveted parts and are designed to be field serviceable. A medium sharp individual with a sharp rock can usually make adequate repairs to keep the tool in use. Note: The wire that makes up the line storage hoop is sized to double as a field repair cotter pin replacement. All individual components are available and can be shipped immediately if stock is on hand. Factory repair is offered for product wear or damage not covered by our limited Warranty. Unless specifically requested soft products that show signs of use will not be replaced on hoists that are returned for service and are expected to be shipped back to purchaser. Factory repair or replacement of product that is defective due to materials, workmanship or fails during normal use will be at our expense.   Replacement is not guaranteed if failure is due to accident, misuse or neglect on the part of the user.  Hoists used in competitive events or in commercial applications will in most cases constitute misuse and will be considered on a case by case basis.
